Everything starts with an adventure. After meeting in Singapore in 2002, we moved to Houston, Texas in 2006 and later Orlando, Florida. It was Texas where we first tasted the Kolache. We started our research two years ago into the feasibility of Kolache's here in Australia. We opened our Micro Bakery Cafe on the 9th January 2016.

where did it come from?

The Kolache that we know came from Czech origins although many Eastern Europeans know it as a sweet or cake. It took the Czech migration to America in the 1980's for the product to evolve and the Texan's or Czechans as they became known created a savoury range of Kolaches which were encassed in the soft pillowy dough.

Quality

Over Quantity

Having a quality product is important to us. Thats why we use Chemical Free, Free Range Meats from Gamze Meats in Wangaratta and Free Range 800g eggs from South Gippsland Free Range Egg Farm. These products enhance the flavour combinations beautifully.

We make all our Kolaches, cakes, pastries, tarts and cookies. on site from scratch.
